Summary

Dr. John Stapleton is forced out of his opthalmology practice by National Health, a for profit medical giant. He does another residency in pathology and is now a coroner in New York. He is investigating the sudden deaths coming from from Manhattan General Hospital where patients and staff are dying from infections with fast acting incubation periods. The hospital is owned by National Health. John's investigation gets him in trouble with both his boss and Manhattan General but he finds the truth.
