Released in 1976, Hotel California would be the Eagles' 5th studio album. This was the one that immediately catapulted these American rockers into the stratosphere of mega-stardom. With Hotel California winning two Grammy Awards, the Eagles went on to become the most successful rock band of the 1970s. To date, Hotel California has sold over 32 million copies, worldwide. And Rolling Stone magazine ranks it at #37 on their list of "The 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time". Most of Hotel California's songs were a writing collaboration between Don Henley (vocals, drums) and Glenn Frey (guitars, synthesizer). 3 of my favourite tunes are - Victim Of Love, Wasted Time (*watch video*), and The Last Resort.
