Not one of Nora Robert's best books. The main character, Bodine, has very similar characteristics of many many previous heroines in a Roberts novel (cocky, sarcastic, dominant and pig headed). While I like a strong woman, I found the continuous thread that absolutely no one could run the ranch or make a decision except Bodine was simply unplausible. She worked with both parents, fully functioning intelligent people, but they were simply faded into the background, as well as her brothers, grandmothers, ranch managers etc. The world ran on bitchy Bodine.
