Look at the pictures together and let your child tell the story. Wordless books help kids understand the sequence of a story (beginning, middle and end). The ability to tell stories--even before they can read--helps with reading comprehension. But really, all that's just a bonus. The best reason to choose this book is because it so beautifully captures simple, innocent, childhood fun. I nominate this picture book for most emotions conveyed in one hug. Pick up this book and see for yourself.
