I like The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and Ben Stiller a lot. Even if you're not typically a fan of his movies, give this one a shot. It is classified as a comedy, but it's more of a drama with some humorous moments--mainly the daydream sequences. It strays far from the very brief story on which it is based; in doing so, I think it does a good job of showing how Walter can change and create a life that is even better than his daydreams. The cast, visuals and tie-in with LIFE Magazine are excellent. Interestingly, James Thurber, the author of the short story, shared in a letter to LIFE Magazine his dissatisfaction with the script of the 1947 movie of the same name. I have not yet seen the 1947 movie.
