Book number 3. All in all an extremely well crafted book, a good page turner and with credible characters. The only disappointment I find is the weak ending. I would have liked a more 'credible' culprit. The fireworks aside, the ending is a dud. It could have been one of the FBI guys, one of the cops, or even Connie for that matter. Anyone but who the author chose. After a while you could almost see that Gurney was losing the battle. And the only way he could find to get the murderer to reveal himself was to flesh him out in the most non-Gurney way, thus the weak ending.
