You will never guess end!! If you do... you have a much more vivid imagination than I. Arnold is a great story teller and wonderful in description. This story begins with a rekindling of a somewhat uncomfortable friendship when two old school mates meet up. You know the type -- that 'friend' you had in highschool, sort of hung around, but never fully trusted. Imagine meeting up with this person now.. and your lives becoming very entwined in a few short weeks... leading you to wonder.... is this person still the same? Have they changed? Author Elizabeth Joy Arnold keeps the suspense going while detailing a very complicated set of scenarios, but tells the story in a very easy going way. And Alex... one of the main characters.. I found myself in grocery stores or heading home from work, anxious to get home to read more -- wondering what would happen with Alex.
