Batgirl is a teenage superhero who, like every other teen, struggles with who she is. In the end she decides for herself, and proves herself a strong, determined character. Her past seems full, but this volume does not expand enough on that, so she is not as well developed a character as she probably is in other comics.

This was a great series! Too bad it only lasted 24 issues before the New 52. loved all three volumes

A good collection of the first issues of the new run, establishing the new Batgirl with guidance from the first one. It's unfortunate that none of this will matter with the whole of the DC universe getting rebooted for no reason whatsoever.
