Add a CommentA sequel to my favourite Austen novel, Sense and Sensibility. This is a well written novel, but it felt like Ms. Barrett was so concerned with writing like Jane Austen, that she ignored important elements like plot and character development. Margaret was a really boring character- Austen would have given her much more sparkle. The story itself, moreover, was quite boring and predictable. I wanted to like this, but it just didn't do it for me.
