I have two grand kiddos that started school this year that would LOVE The Pigeon HAS to Go to School!, but alas, I'll have to wait for the third when it's his time. And I surely will.

on the book chooser shelf but not chosen in 2019
The pigeon has every excuse under the sun for not wanting to go to school: from having to get up in the morning to not knowing what to do about lunch. It isn't until he admits how he really feels that he sees that school isn't so bad after all.
Great for curing the back to school blues!
Pigeon is lovable, as always. If you have a little one anxious to go to school for the first time in the fall, share this book over the summer.
