Very strange, very unsettling, very good stories that are like dark contemporary fairy tales, reminiscent of Neil Gaiman and Angela Carter. Weird tales might be a more accurate description. From Sweden.

These unique stories are unsettling and thought-provoking. They ask the question: what if the world was completely different than what we think it is? Or what if there isn't one world but many?

Devoured this anthology in just a handful of days. If you enjoy Fantastic fiction that straddles the boundary between true magic and illusion, this book is for you. (Fun fact, a UofO alumni contributed to the creation of this book, so support local ;) )

There are some incredible stories here. As with most collections, there are some that weren't for me, but mostly, this was a wonderful read. The stories stayed in my mind for awhile.
