Rabbit goes to Pig's house to play ball, but Pig is busy writing a thank you letter to his Grandma for a birthday gift. This reminds Rabbit that there are people he wants to thank too. While Pig writes one newsy letter to Grandma, Rabbit writes ten thank you letters to people in his life who have done nice things for him.

The illustrations are made from ink-on-paper and painted plywood panels that are perfected in Photoshop. This is a unique illustrative style and very textured. The colors are very vibrant and the pictures are very kid friendly.

Although the language doesn't always flow as well as I would like, I give this story 5 stars for setting a wonderful example of why and how to write thank you letters. This is an often forgotten point of etiquette. The book is advertized for ages 5-8 which is perfect.

A nice introduction to the idea of thank-you letters. Does not feel heavy-handed in its message about gratitude. Humorous illustrations (like the president as duck).
