Two issues with an otherwise good film: 1. some of the quirky humor falls flat and is cringeworthy; and 2. the many moments of gratuitous swearing.

A witty and warm film that will make you nostalgic for the summers you had as an adolescent. The cast is uniformly great, but Nick Offerman really knocks it out of the park.

This movie features a lot of shaving. A lot of shaving cream. And, at other times, a great lack of shaving. I believe there is symbolism in the beard, or the lack of one. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who shaves.

Fun and delightful movie! A wonderful coming of age story of 2 best friends who decide to build a house in the woods to escape their families and their enigmatic friend Biaggio who accompanies them. Highly recommend.

This movie fell flat for me. Everything was lacking something. Don’t bother.

This is not a good movie. The characters are unappealing and flat, they hardly change throughout the film, the soundtrack is terrible, the fake beards are a joke, and it's rarely funny. I love coming of age movies, but this one sucks.…

Was pretty entertaining for the first 30-45 minutes but became way too precious in the second half.

An interesting movie to watch about teens becoming men. Fun and well written. A good weekend movie, not more.

Not bad. Some very funny dialogue; some gross and some silly. Worth a viewing.

Smart script, effective acting, some sweet moments,.. and a subtle commentary on American surburban culture. A triumph of intelligent writing, skilled cinematography, and a committed cast ...working on a bare bones budget.

Great coming of age movie. Beware of very bad language, but otherwise very watchable for a younger (tween/teen) audience with parental guidance. This generations Stand By Me. Just a really unexpectedly great movie. The kids and parents do…
